So, after weeks of taking photos of Nativity plays, Christmas gatherings and Christmas Markets I am feeling thoroughly festive. I finally made time to take my own little boy for a Christmas treat to the fabulous Clearwell Caves in the Forest of Dean. This is an impressive place all year round, but at Christmas it becomes magical. The owners write an original children’s story, then transform the caves into a walk around storybook, with life size puppets and giant story pages. Truly special.
